As a charity we have to report annually to the Charities Commission and you will find our reports, from the link below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Research is vital in discovering deaf people&#8217;s needs and finding solutions.&nbsp;&nbsp;DST does not give grants but receives funding for different projects in the UK<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 1984, we have worked on projects with babies, children, young adults, deaf people\u2019s life experiences and with elderly deaf people<strong>.<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;Recently we have specialised in community research, Deaf blind issues and in video telephony and relay services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All of our research projects have Deaf people working on them<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DST is also deaf-led with a Deaf Chair and a majority of deaf trustees<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>What is happening now, is in the <em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/deafstudiestrust.org\/?page_id=12\">News<\/a><\/strong><\/em> <a href=\"http:\/\/deafstudiestrust.org\/?page_id=12\"><\/a>section<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Past and present DST work is in the <a href=\"http:\/\/deafstudiestrust.org\/?page_id=76\"><em><strong>Projects<\/strong> and <strong>Timeline<\/strong><\/em> section<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are gradually creating a <a href=\"http:\/\/deafstudiestrust.org\/?page_id=212\"><em><strong>Deaf History <\/strong><\/em>section<\/a> &#8211; this will take some time to complete<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Reports and publications of the Trust are in the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/deafstudiestrust.org\/?page_id=94\"><em>Downloads<\/em><\/a><\/strong> section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Information about the Trust, the Trustees are in the <a href=\"http:\/\/deafstudiestrust.org\/?page_id=106\"><em><strong>Annual Reports<\/strong><\/em><\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-light-gray-background-color has-background\"><em>The DeafStation news site<\/em> was set up by the Trust.
